Artichokes are a fundamental ingredient in Italian traditional cooking, and those produced in Lazio are particularly fine.
Rich in minerals and iron, they have diuretic and depurative properties.
Perfect as fancy appetizer or with meat courses, our artichokes are processed immediately after being picked, grilled slightly and preserved in sunflowerseed oil and extra virgin olive oil, the perfect combination to keep vegetables without affecting or masking their original taste. Aromatic herbs and a little vinegar complete the preparation.
Fresh raw materials and a careful processing technique preserve the vegetables' organoleptic qualities, mouthfeel and fragrance.
